We could not have hoped and prayed for a more beautiful ceremony. The finest weather, the presence of our loved ones and the attentive staff of Eden made it such an affair to remember.
The beauty of our love and sweet “I dos” were only rivaled by the beauty of nature that surrounded us. It was a dream come true, indeed.
It was such a gem working with the F&B management and staff of Eden. They executed everything- from the food to the d
Eden initiated a four-day seminar on Basic Firefighting Techniques, Forest Fire Management, and Electrical Safety conducted by the Bureau of Fire Protection and was attended by selected Eden employees.
Eden Nature Park and Resort recently partnered with the Kauswagan Foundation, Incorporated in hosting the Art Lesson and Storytelling for the Children of Barangay Eden in Toril. The month-long event (storytelling for three straight Saturdays, and art workshops on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays) was organized by Eden Nature Park to encourage children to make use of art and storytelling as means to express their thoughts, convey their feelings and articulate their imagination as well as a way for the kids to spend their summer break productively and creatively, and away from the temptation of nasty vices.
The workshop was facilitated by no less than “Paetenyo” artist, Lamberto “Obet” Acyatan, who eagerly imparted his talents in painting and epoxy-making to the young participants. The workshop benefited more than two hundred children, most of which were kids of the resort’s staff and personnel residing within the area.
More than just a commercial establishment, Eden Nature Park considers itself a community composed mostly of locals working together to achieve a common goal: to be keepers of nature’s gifts so that visitors who will go see the resort will learn not just to take care of the environment but will also learn how to nurture it so that the next generation will still be able to enjoy it.
By inviting the children of their staff and personnel, it was also their way of expressing their gratitude to the community, especially to the kids who are the future guardians of the environment.
With these activities, children will hopefully appreciate the value of books and get them to appreciate reading more so that they may be able to open their minds, widen their horizons and explore the world beyond the visual. It will not only make them more learned and artistic but also inspired individuals.

Each team were given guide maps and trivia questionnaire needed as they go along challenges and tasks in every check stations of the race. Activities include running, kite-making, solving puzzles, zipline adventure at the Skyrider and other obstacle courses they have to go through. The first to finish the fun race got the privilege to be the first team to buy trash and other materials from the store. The points they earned from the race were converted to play money which they used to purchase the materials from the store. The teams showed their best effort in coming up with very meaningful pieces of artworks that symbolize green generation as the theme for the said activity.
The kids and adult who joined the activity showed their own little way in supporting the advocacy of Earth day, that is to promote recycle, reuse and reduce. The “convert waste to artwork” activity encourage these 3 R’s to be part of our daily effort in preserving the earth.
The teams Spartans and Inter-Barca were declared tie as the over-all champion. It was indeed a day of fun, learning and excitement. It was also a chance to bond with family and friends. Right after the event, the participants looked forward to Eden’s way of celebrating Earth Day next year.
